Cosplayers Casting Call

Do you have amazing post-apocalyptic or Fallout-inspired cosplay? We’re creating a book trailer for Atom Bomb Baby and are looking for cosplayers to join us! No speaking lines are needed, but we need people in post-apocalyptic gear to fill both background and main character roles.

If you want to know more, visit us in booth #2459, northwest wing at FanX, near the celebrity section. We’re happy to share the storyboard and the music we’ve secured for the project.

We’re also open to anyone interested in other roles to help with the filming, from filming, to sets, location scouting, and more! It should be a fun project.

Characters

The main characters include the following (of course, ages listed reflect how the actors should appear, not their actual age):

• Ashe — A fierce but petite, shorter teenaged female with pale skin and striking red hair (natural or wig).
• Moonbeam — A teenaged male with dark hair and Asian-American features, and an easy smile.
• Talia — A tall teenaged Polynesian female with an athletic build.
• Jade — An enigmatic 6-year-old boy with dark hair and Asian features.
• Rainwood — A mature African-American male with a commanding presence.

Any other characters from the book are also welcome (such as the pink-haired Mason). See more about these characters at Riders of the Stars.

Unfortunately, we can’t use anything that’s iconically identifiable as Fallout (like Vault-Tec outfits). However, power armor is acceptable and would be amazing for the project!

Locations

• Mosstown — A location that can serve as a makeshift shanty town for a lively “shindig” scene, complete with dancing, music, and a rustic, post-apocalyptic vibe. Think weathered structures, scrap-built dwellings, and an open communal space.
• Vault/Fenclave — Looking for an interior space resembling a vault (aka Fenclave) with a high-tech or industrial aesthetic. Metal doors, concrete walls, and tight corridors would all help.
• Wasteland Locations — Unique, forested areas that could double as post-apocalyptic wasteland environments, akin to the woods of Fallout 76’s Mire. Dense trees, rugged terrain, barren clearings, shadowy woods, and even a cabin would be ideal.
